The Charleston City Market is a great place to stroll through and offers a wide assortment of merchandise. The purchasing opportunities include clothing, souvenirs, artwork, handicrafts, jewellery and various oddities such as desiccated alligator heads. In the evening we embarked on a walk on King Street, Charleston’s most popular shopping street.

After a week in Hilton Head, we started to make our way north on December 1, 2012, and decided to make a stop in Charleston, South Carolina, renowned as one of the most beautiful destinations in the American south. We made a stop at the tourist information and found out that any Charleston travel experience should include a sightseeing tour in a horse-drawn carriage.

November 26, 2012 was perfect for an excursion to Savannah, Georgia. Savannah,renowned for its antebellum architecture and Southern charm, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the American South.
